You are invited to our third canoeing trip in 2017 and the first on the river Sazava! Meet new people, be active and have fun! Suitable for people with limited canoeing experience! The price includes round-trip train tickets, the boat and equipment rental, guidance and organization.

Hello Discoverers,
please excuse the short notice of our next canoeing event! This is because I was waiting for rain :) and it has now arrived. Hooray!
We will swap rivers! This time we’re going to ride Sazava from the Sazava town to Chocerady, some 12 km. It is an easy part of the river, suitable for beginners.
LOGISTICS
We will meet on Saturday 10th of June at 8:00 AM in front of the main ticket office at the Prague Main Railway Station. The advantage of this earlier start is that we will be able to take the direct, fast(er) train and hence enjoy the river in the morning before it gets busy.
Meeting point in the Prague Main Railway Station
The train ride will take approx. 1 hour and 20 minutes. We’ll be aiming to be back in Prague by 6 pm the latest. However, we will be as fast as the slowest members of our group and a delay is possible. This is a full-day event.
Note: Please allow extra time to get to the meeting point – public transport is less frequent on Saturdays. Also bring your Open Card (OC)/Litacka/other types of prepaid travel card with you. If you don’t have any form of prepaid travel card, bring 2×24 CZK ticket instead.
LUNCH: We’ll stop at a restaurant by the riverside. But take water and some snacks for emergencies.
PRICE: 590 CZK/person or 390 CZK/person with Discovery Pass (includes round-trip train tickets, the boat and equipment rental, guidance and organization)
What to bring with you: Shoes you don’t mind getting wet – sandals or special shoes for water, wear clothes which dry fast (NOT jeans), sunscreen, some snacks and water. Put all your staff to a small compact bag – we will put all our belongings into water-proof barrels and they are not very large.
