This is dogs and children friendly event! (Standard and Easy hikes are suitable for children from 8 years, children under 16 accompanied by an adult go free!)
The price includes comfortable transport by private bus, admission fees to the Pravcicka gate and the boat ride along the Edmund’s gorge of Kamenice; the assistance of 2 guides.

So here we go!
PLAN OF THE DAY & TRAIL DESCRIPTION
Please read attentively!
We will meet at 7:45 am on Saturday 12th of August, outside of the metro C terminus Letnany. Please be in time because the bus most likely won’t be able to park at the pick-up location for very long! Journey planner will help you to plan your morning travel.
The bus journey to the hike’s starting point in Hrensko takes about 2 hours and 15 minutes.
It is true that we’re going to be a large group on the bus. However, it does not need to put you off because after arrival to the hike’s starting point we’ll split into three subgroups, each following a different route of different difficulty:
STANDARD HIKE
About 12 km of hiking plus 1 km long boat ride along the Edmund’s Gorge
You will see:
Pravcicka Gate
Gabrielina stezka
Edmund’s Gorge
EASY HIKE
About 10 km of hiking plus 2-way boat ride through the Edmund’s Gorge (round trip).
After hiking up to the Pravcicka Gate, you’ll return the same way back to the original departure point and then will continue to the Edmund’s Gorge.
Additional cost: + 80 Kč in cash on the day for the return boat ride.
You will see:

Edmund’s Gorge (you’ll enjoy 2 rides along the Gorge)
SPORT HIKE – this option is SELF-GUIDED!
The full loop as designed by the count Edmund Clary-Aldringen in the 1880’s!
About 15 km of hiking plus two boat rides. A relatively brisk pace will be required to complete the route in time (as delay due to waiting for boat rides is likely).
Additional cost: + 60 Kč in cash on the day for the boat ride in the Wild Gorge.
You will see:

Gabrielina stezka
Wild Gorge (1. boat ride)
Edmund’s Gorge (2. boat ride)
• All three options include about 2 km long ascent to the Pravcicka gate (about 200 meters of altitude gain). The easier hike option you choose, the easier pace of the group.
• Sturdy walking shoes with good tread are required for all three hike options.
LUNCH: We’ll have a picnic lunch. Bring some food to share if you want to. I’m sure it will be appreciated.
We should get back to Prague by 8:30 pm but a delay is possible. This is a full day event!
