Hello Discoverers!
Let’s revisit the Adrspach-Teplice Rocks before the main tourist season to enjoy this wonder of nature as much as possible. And, if we’re lucky, we might see falcons which nest in the Teplice Rocks around this time of the year!
You will walk along narrow walkways, up and down stairs and through tunnels between hundreds of bizarre, up to 90 meters tall sandstone towers.
During this hiking trip you will see both the Adršpach and Teplice Rock Towns.
(Please note that a part of the trail through Teplice Rocks might be closed due to the nesting of falcons.)
PLAN OF THE DAY & TRAIL DESCRIPTION
Please read attentively!
We will meet at 7:45 am on Saturday 23rd of March 2019, in front of the old building of Prague Main Train Station (Fantova budova). See the photo of the meeting point below.
We will travel by a privately chartered small bus. The journey to the hike’s starting point takes about 2 hours and 45 minutes.
FOOD
After we finished the hike (around 15:30), we will have a meal in a nice local restaurant (not included in the price). Bring water and a sandwich/snack to eat during the day.
Expected arrival back to Prague is around 8:00 pm but a delay is possible. Don’t plan anything important after the trip!
DIFFICULTY: Medium (about 11 km of walking including steep stairs and uneven surfaces)
Please note that there are likely to be remnants of snow and ice therefore, please do not join this trip if you’re not comfortable with walking on snowy and icy trails and stairs!
Despite of spring in the calendar, there will likely be leftovers of snow and ice.
BRING WITH YOU
Sturdy, warm and non-slippery (!) walking shoes/boots, gloves, hat and spare socks. Dress in layers according to the weather forecast for the day. Bear in mind that it will likely feel colder in the narrow corridors and crevasses between the rock towers. Bring some energy bars etc, and water. Thermos with hot tea and/or a flask with something stronger will come handy too.

The price includes comfortable transport by private bus, admission fees to Adrspach – Teplice Rocks, the assistance of 2 guides and photos from the trip.
Children under 16 pay 450 CZK (create a separate order for them an enter ‘child16’ coupon code at the checkout)
Food&drink is not included.
