Hello Discoverers,
let me invite to a hiking trip to the Adrspach Rocks! Together with the nearby Teplice Rocks they form the largest and most impressive sandstone rock town in the Czech Republic and perhaps in whole Europe!
You will walk along narrow walkways, up and down stairs and through tunnels between hundreds of bizarre, up to 90 meters tall sandstone towers.
Please note:
The trip will go ahead in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately. Read my Cancellation Policy before booking your place(s)!
LOGISTICS
Meeting on Sunday at 9:00 at the K+R parking lot outside of the metro B “Černý most”. Google maps
We are going to travel by a private minibus and the journey time to Adršpach is about 2 hours.
Expected return to the same place is by 19:30.
As always, a delay is possible. Don’t plan anything important for after the trip!
FOOD
After we finished the hike (around 15:30), we will have a meal in a nice local restaurant (not included in the price). Bring water and a sandwich/snack to eat during the day.
DIFFICULTY: Medium
About 8 km of walking including steep stairs and uneven surfaces.
BRING WITH YOU
- Sturdy, warm and non-slippery (!) walking shoes/boots. I recommend wearing “nesmeky” over your shoes. You can buy them for example at Decathlon.
- Dress in layers according to the weather forecast for the day. Bear in mind that it will feel colder in the narrow corridors and crevasses between the rock towers.
- Snacks (energy bars etc.), and water.
PRICE: 1090 Kč
The price includes comfortable transport by a private minibus, the admission fee to the Adrspach Rocks and myself as your driver, guide and organizer.
Food&drink is not included.
