Nothing cheers you up during short winter days like being physically active in the fresh air, seeing beautiful places and talking with friendly people!
For this trip, we will head to the picturesque Kyjovské Valley in the eastern part of the Bohemian Switzerland National Park.
PLAN OF THE DAY & TRAIL DESCRIPTION
Please read attentively!
We will meet at 8:00 am on Saturday 25th of January 2020, in front of the old building of Prague Main Train Station (Fantova budova). See the photo of the meeting point below.
We will travel by a privately chartered small bus. Please be on time because the bus won’t be able to park at the pick-up location for very long! Journey planner will help you to plan your morning travel.
- The bus journey to the hike’s starting point takes about 2 hours and 15 minutes.
- You can expect the hike itself will take about 4 hours, taking into account the icy trails and time for taking pictures.
- After the hike, around 3:30 pm, we will have lunch in a nice local restaurant (not included) and then travel home.
- Expected arrival back to Prague is 8:30 pm but a delay is possible. Don’t plan anything critical after the trip!
DIFFICULTY: Easy to Medium
About 11 km, mostly flat or downhill.
BRING WITH YOU
Sturdy and warm walking shoes/boots with good tread, optional but recommended – nesmeky* (i.e. anti-slip shoe covers, light crampons), gloves, hat and spare socks.

Dress in layers according to the weather forecast for the day. Bring energy-rich snacks (e.g. nuts, chocolate, raisins etc.), and water. A thermos with hot tea and/or a flask with something stronger will come handy too.

The price includes comfortable transport by a private bus, trip research including the route pre-walking, myself as your guide and host and photos from the trip.
Children under 16 pay 390 CZK (create a separate order for them an enter ‘child16’ coupon code at the checkout)
Food&drink is not included.
