- Hiking in the forests and meadows in one of the most beautiful parts of our country called the Cesky kras Natural Reserve.
DIFFICULTY: MEDIUM (about 15 km of walking with some steep ascents)
MEETING TIME & LOCATION: Saturday July 15, 9:00 AM, Prague – Smichov Train Station (see photo in description)

The hiking season is at full blast so let’s make the most of it! This event will take us to the ‘real’ nature i.e. nature outside of Prague’s boundaries :-) The Bohemian Karst Protected Landscape Area offers one of the best and the most easily accessible hiking grounds in the vicinity of Prague.
HIGHLIGHTS:

LOGISTICS
We will meet in the departure hall of Smichovske nadrazi (Prague – SMICHOV train station) at 9:00 am on Saturday July 15, 2017

Please allow extra time to get there – public transport is less frequent on Saturdays. Use the journey planner to plan your route.
The trek combines both marked and unmarked trails. It will be about 15 km long hike of medium difficulty (includes some steep ascents).
As usual, after the hike there will be an optional lunch. I’ve booked Restaurace U Peronu from 5:30 pm
PRICE: 300 CZK or 100 CZK with Discovery Pass!
The price includes a return train ticket from Prague – Radotin (bring 2×24 CZK ticket if you don’t have a prepaid travel card for Prague Public Transit), myself as your guide and the organization fee.
Children under 16 and dogs go free of charge!
Please note that I have updated the T&C of Discovery Pass – it newly gives you bigger discount (200 CZK) but it can only be used for online payments. The reason for this change is to motivate you to pay for events online, which makes the logistics of events easier and smoother. It also gives me more time to talk to you and enjoy your company.
