Canoeing on the Sázava river is just about as authentic Czech experience as is eating Svíčková with knedlíky! During this trip you’ll meet new people, be active and have fun!
The number of participants is limited, so be quick, before others take your place!
DIFFICULTY: EASY (i.e. suitable for people who haven’t canoed before)
MEETING: 8:45 AM in front of the main ticket office at the Prague Main Railway Station

Hey Discoverers!
This time we’re going to ride on the Sázava from Čerčany to Týnec, some 14 km. It is an easy part of the river, suitable for beginners. The price includes riding 2-seat canoes. For additional 100 CZK, you can get a sit-on-top kayak (single or double). Let me know in the order notes or drop me a message!
LOGISTICS
We will meet on Saturday at 8:45 AM in front of the main ticket office at the Prague Main Railway Station.
The train ride will take approx. 1 hour. We’ll be aiming to be back in Prague by 6 pm. However, we will be as fast as the slowest members of our group and a delay is possible. This is a full-day event.
What to bring with you
Shoes to wear in water (sandals, or you can buy special shoes for walking in water), wear clothes which dry fast (NOT jeans), sunscreen, spare T-shirt, trousers and underwear (in case your canoe capsizes), towel, swimwear, bottle of water and a small snack. Put all your staff to a small compact bag – we will put all our belongings into water-proof barrels and they are not very large.
Keep your phone in a waterproof case and have glasses on a string while on the river!
