Join us for our first canoeing trip in 2019. Meet new people, be active and have fun! Suitable for people with no previous canoeing experience!
The number of participants is limited, so be quick, before others take your place!

MEETING: 8:30 AM in front of the main ticket office at the Prague Main Railway Station

Hey Discoverers,
let’s celebrate the VE Day by opening the canoeing season 2018! The water is still going to be quite cold, however there should be enough of it for a great ride!
We will go on Berounka, and canoe some 14 km with 2 weirs on its lower part, not far from Prague. This section of the river is suitable for the first-time canoers.
What to bring with you
Shoes to wear in water (sandals, or you can buy special shoes for walking in water), wear clothes which dry fast (NOT jeans), sunscreen, bottle of water, a small snack. Put all your staff to a small compact bag – we will put all our belongings into water-proof barrels and they are not very large.

(Includes train fare both ways, equipment rental and myself as your guide and instructor)

The event will be cancelled in case of bad weather – which means heavy rain and strong wind based on weather forecast the day before the event. If it is just cold and cloudy with occasional light rain the event will go ahead because we are not made of sugar and won’t dissolve :-)
Low (or too high) water levels on the day might also lead to the cancellation of this event.
If that happens you will get your money back in full. See also our cancellation policy.
