Join us on a rafting day trip along the largest sandstone canyon in Europe and across the border to Germany!
This trip is suitable for rookie rafters and children from 10 years!

LOGISTICS & PLAN OF THE DAY
We will meet at 8:00 am at Prague Main Station (at our usual place in front of the ticket office, see the photo below).
The train ride to Děčín takes approximately 90 minutes. After arriving to the river side (situated about 15 minutes walk from the train station), we will pick up the rafts*. You will be briefed about how to manoeuvre them on the river and off you go!
*You’re going to ride on inflatable rafts Gumotex Ontario 420 for 3-6 persons. For a photo click here. If you prefer a canoe, it can be arranged. Let me know at filip@discoveringprague.cz!
You will ride some 15 km/9 miles long stretch of the river from Decin to Schmilka in Saxony.
Expected arrival back in Prague is at 19:30
WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU: Shoes to wear in water (sandals, or you can buy special shoes for walking in water), wear clothes which dry fast (NOT jeans), sunscreen, bottle of water, a small snack. You need to have a passport or EU identity card with you!
Put all your staff to a small compact bag.
Bring some Euros to buy a coffee or ice-cream in Germany (optional).
LUNCH: We’ll stop in the middle of the way in a restaurant (on the Czech side of the border). Lunch is not included (bring enough cash with you).
PRICE: 890Kc or 690Kc with Discovery Pass
(includes train tickets to Decin and back from Germany to Prague, rental of rafts, life-jackets and all the necessary equipment, brief raft driving and safety training, a ferry ride across Elbe in Germany, myself as your guide and organizer)
Children under 16 years pay 450 Kc (in cash on the day, one child per one adult).
