Netwalking is networking while walking and talking. Let’s stretch our legs and have a friendly chat!
We are going to walk some 7-8 km in parks and quiet streets of Prague and top-off the walk with a drink or meal in a pub.

Sunday Walk to Šárka and Tuchoměřice

Ahoj Netwalkers!
After a longer break, I’d like to cordially invite you to another Netwalking walk, this time on Saturday for a change!
The route will take you to the pleasant Tuchoměřice forest just north-west of the Prague city limits. Starting from the “Divoká Šárka” former tram terminus in Prague 6, we will also enjoy the beloved Divoká Šárka nature reserve.
This walk will be a “prequel” to the walk to Okoř and Budeč we did in June because it ends where the Okoř walk started.
HIGHLIGHTS
- The walk through the gorge of Šárecký potok in Divoká Šárka
- Great view from the Nebušická vyhlídka lookout
- Lovely Tuchoměřice Forest, the largest woodland in the area.
- (Optional) after hike lunch with your fellow Netwalkers
DIFFICULTY: Easy to Medium
The route will be around 10 km with cca 160 meters / 520 ft of vertical gain, 50% on paved trails. There will be one steep ascent and some uneven, rocky trails.
MEETING POINT
In front of the McDonald’s restaurant on the Evropská street. It is located about 100 metres from the tram 20 and 26 terminus “Divoká Šárka” and right by the airport bus 119 stop of the same name.

AREAS COVERED
Liboc (Prague 6) and Tuchoměřice (Central Bohemian Region)
End point: Around 13:30 in the village of Tuchoměřice (about 20 min bus ride from Prague – Bořislavka).
If you join us for a lunch in Tuchoměřice (in a lovely Italian restaurant), you can expect to be back in Prague around 16:00.
BRING WITH YOU
Comfortable walking shoes you don’t mind getting dirty. An umbrella or raincoat if rain is expected.
Water & snack
Feel free to bring your dog!
