Hello Discoverers!
Let’s hike to the top of Mt. Sněžka (1603 m /5,259 ft a.s.l.) which is the highest natural peak of the Czech Republic. You will find it in the Krkonoše mountains (Giant Mountains in English) on the border with Poland.

PLAN OF THE DAY & TRAIL DESCRIPTION
Please read attentively!
We will meet at 8:00 am on Saturday in front of the old building of Prague Main Train Station (Fantova budova). See the photo of the meeting point below.
We will travel by a privately chartered comfortable bus. The bus journey to the trail head will take about 2 hours and 45 minutes.
FOOD
Take your own picnic lunch, we’ll have it on the top of Sněžka! Bring at least 1.5 liter (better 2 liters) of water. After we finished the hike (around 16:00), you will be able to have a meal in a nice local restaurant (not included in the price).
Expected arrival back to Prague is around 21:30 but a delay is possible. Don’t plan anything important after the trip!
DIFFICULTY: Medium
Good health and physical fitness is necessary!
The route is about 15 km long and leads mostly on the main ridge of the Krkonoše mountains. It is very beautiful but also relatively demanding. Be prepared for a steep ascent and descent to and from the peak, and narrow, uneven and potentially slippery trail.

If you find yourself very tired, you will have the option to shorten the hike by taking the cable car from the top of Mt. Sněžka. to Pec p. Sněžkou. The ticket costs 200 CZK and is not included.
What to take with you:
Good hiking shoes/boots with good tread. Windproof and waterproof jacket, sun screen and sun-glasses. Food and water. Face mask for the bus journey.
Please note:
The trip will go ahead in all weather conditions, unless a safety warning is issued by the mountain rescue service. Please dress appropriately.

The price includes comfortable transport by private bus, guiding by a qualified mountain leader and photos from the trip.
Children under 16 pay 490 CZK (create a separate order for them an enter ‘child16’ coupon code at the checkout). The trip is suitable for children from 12 years up.
Food&drink is not included.
