Hello Discoverers!
Together with Michal of Born in Prague, we would like to offer you an opportunity to actively rewind and to enjoy a lovely summer evening with a friendly group of people.
The plan is to cycle some 20 km/12 miles in the Šárka Valley, the Stromovka Park and more.
You don’t need to own a bicycle to join this trip!
RECOMMENDED BIKE
A hybrid or mountain bike will be the best.
City bikes might be fine, too. However, the route is not suitable for road, single-speed or fixie bikes.
Your cycle has to be fitted with a functional rear red light. We recommend having a front light as well.
Rental bikes from Okolo Bike Rental meet these requirements and a helmet is included in the rental price (250 CZK).
LOGISTICS
The meeting time and location will depend on whether you’ll be coming on your bike or renting one from Okolo Bike.
Meeting 1 (If you want to rent a bike)
At 18:15 at OKOLO Bike Rental, Revoluční 8 (go through the passage to the backyard), Praha 1. It is about 100 meters from the Palladium at Náměstí Republiky.

At 18:45 The Masaryk Train Station (at Parky’s hot dog stand)

Meeting 3 (If you come with your own bike and meeting the group in Prague 6 is more convenient for you)
At 19:20 Praha–Veleslavín train Station (NOT the metro/bus station), Nad Stanicí 42, Praha 6

Please be on time. We won’t wait for late-comers!
We should be back at Okolo Bike Rental shop by 21:30 the latest. With your own bike you will have the flexibility to leave the group earlier at a place convenient for you.
DIFFICULTY: Easy to Medium
Around 20 km, the route is flat or slowly descending, mostly paved
WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU
Comfortable sporting clothes and shoes (ideally with reflective stripes), a bottle of water, 250 CZK in cash for the bike rental, Prague Lítačka or 1×24 CZK for the train.
If you’re joining with your own bike: For your own safety, we require you to wear a helmet and have a functional rear red light installed on your bike!

Bicycle rental is not included (additional 250 Kč, including a helmet). Please pay in cash.
This trip is suitable for sporty kids from 10 years. Children < 16 years go free (you will enter ‘child16’ coupon code at the checkout).
