Mini-Netwalking to Klánovice Forest

Let’s explore the largest wood in Prague, the Klánovice Forest! We’ll hike some 10 km between the pretty suburb of Klánovice and the equally lovely little town of Úvaly.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Very pleasant walk in the largest forest of Prague.
- Great view from the viewing tower near Úvaly.
- Beer from a local microbrewery and/or very tasty local ice-cream and coffee!
DIFFICULTY: Easy to Medium
Around 10 km long route mainly on unpaved forest trails. Mostly flat with a short steep incline near the end (in total 89 meters / 292 ft of vertical gain).
BRING WITH YOU
- Comfortable walking shoes you don’t mind getting dirty. An umbrella or rain coat if rain is expected.
- Water and a small snack or sandwich.
- Face mask
EXTRA COST
You’ll need additional 18 CZK for the train from Úvaly (or 32 CZK without Prague Lítačka)
MEETING POINT
We will meet at 10:15 am at the Masaryk Railway Station (Masarykovo nádraží), in the station hall, by the departures board. In case you can’t find us please call me on 739 370 212.
Don’t be late, our train leaves at 10:30!
We should be back in Prague by 16:00
